My goal with Art by Megzykin is rooted in the joy of discovery and the beauty of the overlooked. As a child, I would go thrifting and vintage shopping with my mom — not searching for anything in particular, but finding joy in small treasures we stumbled upon. A seashell that echoes the ocean, a lonely blue glass lid missing its match — these forgotten objects would lead to invented stories that only expanded my imagination. Today, I create one-of-a-kind, collectible trinkets that invite people to experience that same sense of wonder. My artwork is whimsical, approachable, and intentionally affordable. My work is for anyone who wants to bring a bit of magic into their everyday life without breaking the bank. 

Materials used: Canvas, gesso, thrifted frames, catfood tins(cleaned, of course), old bottles, cardboard- my goal is to upcycle as many overlooked objects as possible. .
